LEWISTON – Frederick M. Wing, 60, a resident of Blake Street Towers, died early Saturday, June 9, at Central Maine Medical Center, after a long illness.
He was born in Portland, March 17, 1947, the son of Alexander G. and Verian B. Wing. He attended Portland schools and was employed at the former Hillcrest Poultry, where he worked for 18 years until his disability.
Fred was an avid fisherman and hunter.
Survivors include his mother of Leeds; one son, Timothy Frederick of Lewiston; three brothers, David A. Wing of Auburn, William L. Wing of Oxford and Richard Patton, and his wife, Merline, of Turner; one sister, Linda M. Beaulieu, and her husband, Lionel, of Lewiston; and many nieces and nephews.
