Lobster rolls

DIXFIELD – The Dixfield Congregational Church will have a lobster roll supper from 5:30 until sold out today at the church. Cost is $7.50, adults; $3.50, children. Chicken will be available for $5 for those who don’t want lobster. The menu will include lobster rolls, potato salad, coleslaw, blueberry cake and beverage.

Flag ceremony

RUMFORD – The Rumford Lodge of Elks 862 will hold its annual Flag Day ceremony at 5:30 p.m. today. The ceremony will take place in Veterans Park at the end of Congress Street. If raining, it will be held in the lodge room upstairs at the Elks. Everyone is welcome. There will be a free light lunch at the lodge after the service.

No flea market

PERU – The American Legion has canceled its flea market on Saturday, June 16, but will still have a multi-family lawn sale inside or outside from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Lobster rolls and hot dogs will be for sale. The flea market will be rescheduled sometime in July.

Class lunch

RUMFORD – Stephens High School Class of 1946 will meet at Dino’s for lunch Wednesday, June 20, at 11:30 a.m.
