TURNER – Likable Recyclables, a licensed Maine e-waste demanufacturer, has announced an E-cycling day from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 16, at Leavitt Area High School.

Likable Recyclables Inc. will provide the school district with free computer recycling. The public is invited to go to the high school to drop off personal e-waste at no expense.

Items to be accepted are, but are not limited to, computers (including monitors), computer peripherals, printers, cabling, external drives, cameras, cell phones and TVs.

All hard drives are thoroughly “wiped” so that no information can ever be retrieved. Businesses are welcome to bring their obsolete computer equipment to the collection for a fee of $20 a computer (this includes CPU, monitor, mouse, keyboard, small scanner and small printer).

Donations will be accepted. For more information about the event, to schedule a similar event or arrange for a company pick-up, contact Bill Tanner and Likable Recyclables at 639-2191 or for more information, go to www.likeablerecyclables.com.
