NAPLES – Popular eateries and other venues will provide the backdrop for the second annual 2007 Maine Blues Festival from 11 a.m. to midnight Saturday, June 16. Forty-plus acts will perform at 12 different sites: Bray’s Brewpub and Eatery, The Freedom Cafe, Kahuna’s, North Shore Tavern, Rick’s Café, Sandy’s on the Flight Deck, Shaker’s Bar & Grill, Songo River Queen, Sydney’s Restaurant, Tony’s Foodland, Watson’s Wheel’s and Water show, and Naples Village Green.

Among those who’ll belt out the blues at this family-friendly event are the 50-50 Blues Band, Arlo West, Blind Lemons, Blue Street Station, The Blueshounds, Delta Knights, Denny Breau, Pam Baker and the SG’s, Pat Pepin, Steve Bailey and What’ the Catch.

Festivalgoers can stroll through the downtown area while listening to live blues music in the popular “pub crawl” fashion. Most venues are within walking distance of each other, and free shuttle bus service will be provided to and from parking areas and all venues.

Besides performances by musician, there will be children’s activities, food and craft vendors, and educational programs.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 the day of the show. Tickets may be purchased online at www.mainebluesfestival.com.
