AUBURN – Ashlee Arnold tossed a no-hitter, striking out 9, as Gee & Bee beat Pepsi 15-1 in the Auburn Suburban Major Softball Division. Kory Norcross was the big stick with a double, single and homer. Arnold also collected 3 hits, including a double. Lexi Clavet cracked 2 singles.
Austin picked up 3 wins in recent action in the Major Division. Desmond Gagne, who struck out 11, aided his cause with a double and triple to lead Austin to a 5-4 win over Hardy-Wolf-Downing. Losing hurler Evan Hazelton fanned 8 and whacked a triple. . . Austin defeated HRH 10-4 as Gagne legged out a 3-bagger. Winning hurler Mickey Lawrence struck out 8. HRH pitcher Brian Camire fanned 11. . . Matt Keaney and Max Soifer were repeat hitters as Austin turned back H-W-D 8-4. Isaac Lane also had a key hit. Mike Hammond gained the mound win. Hazelton struck out 10 for H-W-D. He also collected a double and single.

LEWISTON – Hannaford earned 2 victories in recent action in the Major Division. The Grocers edged Aubuchon Hardware 6-4 as Nick Boom pitched 5 strong innings, striking out 9. Jacob Soucy earned the save. Brandon Perron and Colton Bernier each rapped 3 hits. Connor Perron collected a triple and single. Jeremy Kearns whacked a double for Aubuchon. Jordan Charest was a repeat hitter. . . Hannaford beat Rowe Fordland 10-7 as Alex Small hit his first round-tripper and later tripled. Winning pitcher Matt Poto drilled a triple and single. Kyle Lemelin was a repeaet hitter for Rowe.
