LEWISTON – FISC, a payment solutions provider, announces the appointment of Darrell Davis as account executive. Davis joined FISC on May 14.
Davis’ sales focus is on business development for FISC’s cash management, lockbox and statement and invoice processing services to companies located throughout New England. He is also responsible for building and maintaining relationships with FISC clients and prospects.
Davis, of Kennebunk, is a first lieutenant in the Maine Army National Guard. Before beginning his career at FISC, he had been deployed to Afghanistan where he was a construction project manager. In his role in the military he was also a combat aircrewman in the Naval Air Reserve from 1985-2002.
In past positions, Davis served as an energy and derivatives analyst for Energy East. He has also held positions as a management consultant for local Maine banks, specializing in compliance and asset liability management. Previously, he was a market risk manager in the Buenos Aires office of a leading financial corporation based in Boston.
Davis holds an MBA in finance and operations management from The Babson College Graduate School of Business in Wellesley, Mass., as well as a bachelor of science degree in business administration in banking and finance from Appalachian State University. He has been a certified treasury professional since 2002, and is a volunteer firefighter for the Kennebunk Fire and Rescue Department.
