AUBURN – Jean A. Burnham, 81, wife of the late Robert L. Burnham of Hebron and formerly of Middleboro, Mass., died peacefully on June 16, at the Hospice House.

She was an avid gardener and loved flowers and the outdoors. Her love of flowers was evident, as she always had a vase of fresh cut flowers on her table. She looked forward to her daily walks and her many adventures with her sister, Muriel and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren at school functions and sporting events. She and her husband, Robert had many wonderful camping trips, covering most of the United States. After his death, she continued traveling by cruising to numerous ports of call with her companion.

Surviving are her companion, Louis J. Langhauser Sr. of Hebron; her sister, Muriel Lang, and her husband, Walter, of Oxford; her daughter, Debra Perry, and her husband, Edwin, of Flatwoods, W.Va.; her son, Daryl G. Burnham, and his wife, Doreen, of Hebron; her granddaughter, Sherri Swindle, and her husband, Mark, of Middleboro, Mass.; her granddaughter and grandson, Courtney M. Burnham and Robert K. Burnham of Hebron; her great-grandson, Mark Swindle Jr.; her niece, Kerri Bailey; her nephew, Kurt Lang; three great-nephews; a great-niece; and two great-great-nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband; and a nephew.

The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks for the support of Androscoggin Home Care and Hospice visiting home care team and the staff at Hospice House, all of whom treated Jean with kindness, respect and compassion.
