SAINT-HYACINTHE, Quebec – Sister Laurette Dumais, 93, of the Congregation of the Sisters of Charity of Saint-Hyacinthe passed away on June 17.

She was born in Lewiston on Oct. 1, 1913. She had entered the community on Aug. 30, 1932, and made profession on March 22, 1935.

She served in Lewiston, Berlin, N.H., North Smithfield, R.I., and in Saint-Hyacinthe in Canada.

Surviving are a few cousins from Lewiston.
