RUMFORD – Louise J. Brennick, 74, died Sunday, June 17, at the Hospice House. She was a resident of Hancock Street in Rumford.

She was born in Rumford, on July 9, 1932, a daughter of the Emile and Marieange (Carignan) Poisson. She attended Rumford schools.

She was a communicant of St. Athanasius-St. John Church. She was an avid beano player and also loved to play cards. She was married in Rumford on May 26, 1951 to John J. Brennick III, who died in Rumford on April 29, 2006.

Survivors include four sons, David Brennick of Portland, John Brennick of Windham, Michael Brennick, and his wife, Janet, of Mexico and Mark Brennick, and his wife, Sara, of Rumford Center; six daughters, Deborah Simpson of Lewiston, Gail Gaudin, and her husband, Patrick, of Peru, Gloria Carter, and her husband, Jim, of Rumford, Carol Nadeau, and her husband, Michael, of Rumford, Pam Bryant, and her husband, David, of Ada, Okla. and Kelly Bordeau, and her companion, Matthew Noyes, of Mexico; one sister, Mariette St. Cyr of Rumford; 31 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
