Boutilier benefit
NORWAY – DJ Bump will be spinning the tunes beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, June 22, at Charlie’s Entertainment Center on Main Street. All proceeds to benefit Gemma Boutilier, who is battling breast cancer. Cost is $4 per person. There will be a 50/50 raffle and silent auction items.
Summer reading
OXFORD – Area public libraries are offering a summer reading program for teens who are entering grades seven, eight and nine in the fall.
Teens may register at their local public library and can earn reading points for rewards, including pizza and gift certificates. Readers who have earned at least 15 points by July 14 will qualify for a raffle of one copy of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.” The drawing for the Harry Potter book will take place at a Mystery Game Night at the Paris Public Library from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 20 from.
The summer reading program will conclude with a celebration on Aug. 9.
