WATERVILLE – James N. Pepin (Jim), 60, of Auburn, died peacefully, Monday, June 18, at Thayer Hospital after a short illness.
Jim was born in Lewiston on Feb. 19, 1947, a son to the late Nelson and Gertrude (Noonan) Pepin. He attended Lewiston schools and graduated from Lewiston High School, Class of 1965, where he was known for his athleticism and leadership in different sports.
He was a lineman for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 104 for many years. He really enjoyed spending his last few months staying at his brothers’ camp in Jackman, and spending time with his two brothers. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, playing cards and was an avid golfer and a terrific pool player. He was known for his fun-loving and easy-going personality and he will be missed by many friends and family.
He leaves a daughter, Jessica Pepin, and her husband, Dan Bragg, of Virginia; two sons, James Pepin, and his wife, Emily, of New York, and Nelson Pepin of Dixfield; three grandchildren, Sarah and Katelyn Bragg and Finn Pepin; two sisters, Betty Libby of Florida, and Elaine Dube, and her husband, Richard, of Lewiston; two brothers, Michael Pepin, and his wife, Sue, of Auburn and William Pepin, and his wife, Carole, of Auburn; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
