Nicole A. Dunham of Norway was presented the Modern Languages and Literature Writing Prize: French and the Modern Languages and Literature Outstanding Senior Major Award at Moving-Up Day ceremonies held recently at St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y.

Dunham is a senior at St. Lawrence. She graduated from Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School in South Paris and is majoring in French. PRIDES and Gospel Choir were among the activities that she participated in on campus.

The Modern Languages and Literature Writing Prize in French is awarded to the authors of outstanding papers submitted in the language of each of the department’s majors: French, German, Spanish.

The Modern Languages and Literature Outstanding Senior Multi-Language Student Award is awarded annually to an outstanding major in multi-languages or to a student who has worked at a high level in two languages.
