LIVERMORE FALLS – After an executive session Monday night, selectmen agreed that they are inclined to extend Town Manager Martin Puckett’s contract but need to work on the details, Chairwoman Julie Deschesne said Tuesday.

Puckett, 30, of Augusta told selectmen in December that he was not interested in having his contract extended after it expires Jan. 8, 2008.

Puckett said Tuesday he has reconsidered his decision and is now interested in remaining as town manager.

Puckett had presented what he would like to see in his contract, Deschesne said, but the board was not prepared to make a decision on the details Monday night.

Puckett has been the town manager since Jan. 3, 2006.
