BETHEL – Three special events are scheduled this summer at Bethel.

The Key Bank Mollyocket Day Classic is set for Saturday, July 21. There will be a 1-mile fun run, a 5-mile race, and a 3-mile walking event. T-shirts will be given to the first 100 registrants.

The first annual Maine State Kids’ Triathlon (non-competitive event) is slated for Saturday, August 4 at 3 p.m. at Angevine Park Swimming Pond on the North Road. Entry fee is $20 (before July 20) and $25 after that date.

The 16th annual Maine State Triathlon Classic & Aquabike is scheduled for Sunday, August 5 starting at 8 a.m. at Songo Pond. Check-in time is 6-7 a.m. at Gould Academy Fieldhouse. There will be a 1-k swim, a 25-k bike loop and a 5-k cross country run.
