WOODSTOCK – The Woodstock Historical Society Museum has some special exhibits planned this summer.
At the opening of the museum, all the exhibits donated over the winter were on display for one day only before they were put in their permanent place in the museum’s selections. Most of the items were donated by Curator Larry Billings.
Billings has also put out an ongoing exhibit of the society’s large collectibles, including a garden sculpture of Pan and a huge China bowl.
Currently, there is an exhibit of books on Tudor England, covering the period of Henry VIII and Elizabeth I.
Next month, a “Christmas in July” exhibit is planned, as often the society’s Christmas decorations are not seen since meetings are held elsewhere in the winter.
The museum, located on Route 26, is open Saturdays, 1 to 4 p.m. all summer.
