FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – The wedding of Jennifer Brown Anderson and Joseph Norman LaFleur was held at 5:30 p.m. on March 24 on the yacht Anticipation IV in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Captain Luis A. Santos Jr. officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. LaFleur is the daughter of Gregory and Cynthia Anderson of Gray. Mr. LaFleur is the son of Norman and Rosemary LaFleur of West Springfield, Mass.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a satin sheath gown with embroidered Swarovsky crystal on the halter and a matching tiara. She carried a bouquet of five Calla lilies grande.

Jill Samatulski was maid of honor for her friend. Bridesmaids were Kristin Berka, friend, and Jenna LaFleur, sister of the bridegroom.

John Koufopoulos, friend, performed the duties of best man. Ushers were Umberto Santaniello, friend, and Jeremiah Anderson, brother of the bride.

A dinner cruise followed on the yacht. The couple went on a Mediterranean cruise with an extended trip to Italy. They are residing in Miami, Fla.

The bride is a graduate of Gray-New Gloucester High School and received a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in rehabilitation and disability studies from Springfield College. She is employed as a disability specialist with Disability Determination Services in Miami, Fla.

The bridegroom is a graduate of West Springfield High School and received a bachelor’s degree in business management administration from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, and a master’s degree in business administration from Western New England College. He is director of restaurants at the Harbor Beach Marriott in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
