LEWISTON – Central Maine Christian Academy recently held an awards ceremony for the fourth quarter. Academic awards for the fourth quarter for highest honors in grades five and up were presented to Emily Cormier, Garrett Glass, Lex-C Jiminez, Sarah Beecher and Ashley Fenderson. Second honor awards went to Eugene Field, Dan Ouellette, Brandyn Hobbs, Jessica Beecher, Courtney Fenderson, Amanda Fenderson and Peter Field.
President’s Education Awards as well as congratulatory letters from President Bush were presented to the following students for making the honor roll consistently this past year: second honors, Dan Ouellette and Peter Field; combination of second and high honors, Garrett Glass, Ashley Fenderson, Sarah Beecher and Brandyn Hobbs; highest honors, Emily Cormier and Lex-C Jiminez.
Special awards were also given to students placing in the ACSI high school math competition. These went to Peter Field for first place in algebra 1; Eugene Field, third place in algebra 2; John Field, second place in pre-calculus; and Joel Marchand, first place in both calculus and geometry.
Perfect attendance certificates for the fourth quarter were awarded to Jarred Vandymark, Cameron Winslow, Grace Rosas, Cameron Conant, Brandyn Hobbs, Mike Nyberg, Lex-C Jiminez, Emily Cormier, Jewels Gagne, Brooke Lacombe, Matthew Lewis, Amy Jordan, Courtney Fenderson, Zaquary Stiles, Ashley Fenderson, Ashley Paquette and Dan Ouellette. Special recognition and perfect attendance certificates for the school year were awarded to Dan Ouellette, Ashley Paquette, Mike Nyberg and Brandyn Hobbs.
