Bill and Cynthia Immonen were surprised when they looked out their window on Mountain View Drive in South Paris on Sunday and spotted a black bear in their backyard. Bill estimated it weighed between 150 and 175 pounds. The Immonens remarked that it was the first time they had seen a bear in Maine, except in a zoo.
