Criminal mischief
A fence at 105 Walnut St. was spray painted with graffiti some time between 8 p.m. on June 21 and 7:45 a.m. on June 22.
A garage at 7 Webster St. was spray painted with graffiti overnight June 21-22.
An apartment building at 89 Shawmut St. was spray painted with graffiti between 6:30 p.m. on June 21 and 8:30 a.m. on June22.
On June 24 at 11 p.m. a security guard at the Bates Mill witnessed a white male 5-foot-9, and 145 pounds wearing black acid washed jeans, a black shirt, and a ball cap spray painting graffiti on the side of the building.
The building at 33 Central Ave. was tagged with graffiti overnight June 21-22.
A fence and building at 41 Bradley St. were tagged with graffiti overnight June 22-23.
A vehicle parked at 69 Sabattus St. was damaged overnight June 21-22.
A mailbox was smashed overnight June 21-22 at 212 Old Greene Road.
Two mailboxes at 150 and 152 Hogan Road were smashed overnight June 21-22.
An apartment building at 148 Pierce St. was paint-balled overnight June 23-24.
Thefts
A bicycle was stolen from outside of the Flagship Cinemas around 10:30 p.m. on June 23.
A vehicle parked outside of the Acme Club on Park Street was burglarized between 1 a.m. on June 23 and 8 a.m. on June 24. A digital camera was stolen from inside.
ME MC reg MYF4I was stolen from a motorcycle which was parked at 1 Buckley St.
Some construction, contractor equipment was stolen from outside of McMahon School some time overnight June 23-24. Several rolls of flashing were stolen from a construction project.
Burglaries
Aroostook Fence at 1827 Lisbon St. was burglarized overnight June 22-23. The suspect attempted to force through a rear entry door but was unsuccessful, but successfully broke a window and crawled inside. A cash register was taken from inside.
An apartment at 116 Sabattus St. was burglarized prior to 4 a.m. on June 24. A flat screen TV was stolen.
An apartment at 81 Lincoln St. was burglarized within the last week. It appears as though the lock was forced, An Xbox 360, games and DVDs were stolen.
Burglary arrest
Kathryn Reagan, 18, was charged with burglary, three counts of motor vehicle burglary, motor vehicle theft, theft, and leaving the scene of an accident on June 23 at 10 a.m. Officers received a report of a suspicious person from 54 Pettingill St. at 5:42 a.m.. The resident reported waking up to find a female in his home who had entered through an unlocked door. She claimed to have mistaken the home for another address due to her intoxication. The female had left prior to officers arriving. Upon investigation, they discovered that a vehicle had been stolen from 4 Libby Ave. and a car had been burglarized. Auburn police located the stolen vehicle which had been abandoned after being involved in an accident on Center Street shortly after the report was received. Several more motor vehicle burglaries were committed in the immediate vicinity of the accident scene. A witness eventually came forward to report that he had given a ride to a female of similar description to an address in Lewiston from the same area. A check of the address revealed a Ms. Reagan who was later questioned at the station and admitted to having entered a home on Pettingil Street and having a confrontation with the resident.
Operating under the influence arrests
Paul O’Neal, 21, was charged with operating under the influence and operating with a suspended license on June 23 at 3:50 a.m. at 30 Tall Pines Dr. The vehicle was stopped for driving with no headlights on.
Scott Brochu, 35, was charged with operating under the influence on June 24 at 1:07 a.m. at 415 Sabattus St. This was following a routine traffic stop.
Jonathan Marcotte, 24, was charged with operating under the influence on June 23 at 12:10 a.m. at 373 Sabattus St. Officers responded to this address for a report of an accident involving two telephone poles. The operator was visibly intoxicated upon arrival.
Operating after suspension arrest
Joan Mosier, 31, was arrested for operating after habitual offender status as well as for warrants on June 23 at 10:18 p.m. at Main and Russell street. The vehicle was stopped for having no rear license plate.
