RUMFORD – Unless otherwise noted, the following are to be arraigned Aug. 7 in Rumford District Court:

• Jonathan Nisbet, 26, Rumford, terrorizing, 10 p.m. June 25 on Maine Avenue. He was released on $600 unsecured bail.

• Christopher M. Deveau, 33, North Waterboro, operating under the influence, 10:25 p.m. June 24 on Pine Street. He was released on $300 unsecured bail, and will be arraigned on Sept. 4 in Rumford District Court.

• Robert Tuttle, 39, Rumford, terrorizing, 11:25 p.m. June 23 on Rumford Avenue. He was released on $100 cash bail.

• Betty A. Parent, 27, Rumford, warrant charging failure to appear on charge of operating after suspension, turned herself in at the police station on River Street at 9 a.m. June 22. She was released on $500 cash bail.

• Denis G. Giard, 38, Rumford, domestic assault, 12:15 p.m. June 18 on South Rumford Road. He was released on $300 unsecured bail.

• Matthew M. Jordan, 39, Buckfield, operating after suspension, operating with a suspended registration, failure to show proof of insurance, and possession of a suspended driver’s license, 1:50 a.m. June 15 on Railroad Street. He was released on $200 unsecured bail, and will be arraigned on Sept. 4 in Rumford District Court.

• Robert D. Lemieux, 53, Mexico, failure to register a motor vehicle for more than 150 days, 12:30 a.m. June 15 on Route 2. He was released on unsecured bail, and will be arraigned on Sept. 4 in Rumford District Court.

• Tonia Surette, 31, Mexico, operating under the influence, 12:06 a.m. June 9 on Falmouth Street. She was released on personal recognizance bail.

• Raymond S. Packard, 50, Mexico, operating under the influence, 5:20 p.m. June 6 on Route 2. He was released on $400 unsecured bail.

• Thompson Moore, 28, Mexico, operating under the influence (second offense), 11:20 p.m. June 5 on Hancock Street. He was released on $1,000 unsecured bail, and will be arraigned on Sept. 4 in Rumford District Court.

• June 6 – Maureen Tuttle, 45, of Rumford was summoned on a charge of stealing three types of prescription medication and $1,500 cash from a man’s pants while he slept about 5 a.m. in his Waldo Street home. Because the charge is a Class C felony, Tuttle will be arraigned on Aug. 23 in Oxford County Superior Court in Paris.

Accidents

• June 23, 2:35 p.m. – Malcolm Budge, 28, of Enfield, who was driving a 1992 Chevrolet pickup truck on Route 2, struck the back of a 1988 Nissan Pathfinder driven by Jane Bradford, 44, of Rumford, while she was trying to turn left into the Sam’s Italian Shop parking area. Neither was injured, but the Nissan sustained an estimated $1,000 in damage; the Chevrolet, $3,500.

• June 17, 3:48 a.m. – An investigation into a hit-and-run accident at 51 Spruce St. that damaged two parked vehicles and a porch led to the summons of a Rumford man.

Police located Michael P. Pelletier, 20, and his 1990 red Toyota pickup truck at a Wyman Hill residence, and charged him with leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failure to respond by quickest means possible, illegal possession of alcohol by a minor, and operating under the influence. He will be arraigned on Sept. 4 in Rumford District Court.

Pelletier’s truck sustained an estimated $4,000 damage. Damage to a parked 1992 Chevrolet Blazer was estimated at $5,000; to a parked 2000 Ford pickup truck, $4,500; and the porch, $12,000. Flying debris from the porch also knocked over a parked motorcycle, but damage wasn’t apparent.

• June 15, 10:52 a.m. – Patricia McCollough, 75, of Rumford, was taken by Med-Care Ambulance to Rumford Hospital after complaining of chest pain after accidentally crashing her car into the former Dollar Store at 80 Congress St. Damage to the 2006 Kia Spectra was estimated at $5,000; to the building, $5,000.

• June 12, 8:45 a.m. – Rosaire Chartier, 69, of Rumford, was not injured after he fell asleep while driving a 2002 Buick off the East Andover Road. The car, which struck a tree, sustained an estimated $10,000 damage.

• June 11, 5:40 a.m. – Christopher Dixon, 39, of Rumford, complained of pain after the 1999 Kawasaki ZR 1100 motorcycle on which he was riding struck a deer crossing South Rumford Road. He was treated at the scene by emergency responders. The motorcycle sustained an estimated $4,000 in damage.

• June 8, 7:52 p.m. – A 1995 Chrysler operated by Louann Poirier, 16, of Mexico, rear-ended a 1999 Chrysler operated by Jamie Labbe, 22, of Rumford, while Labbe was stopped behind traffic waiting for a pedestrian to cross the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Waldo Street. Neither Poirier nor Labbe were injured, but one of three passengers in Poirier’s car, Alexis Cunningham, 15, of Rumford, complained of shoulder pain and was taken by Med-Care Ambulance to Rumford Hospital. Poirier’s other passengers were Cassendra Glynn and Shelby Moore, both 15 and both of Rumford. Damage to Poirier’s car was estimated at $3,000; to Labbe’s car, $1,500.
