I believe that a great injustice has been done to all the living and dead veterans of World War II. Nothing was printed noting June 6, the anniversary of D-Day, the invasion of Normandy – one of the greatest events in our world’s history.

I believe the Sun Journal has shown a lack of patriotism and judgment. Nothing was offered to thank the veterans who gave their lives so the rest of us could live in freedom. Shame on the Sun Journal. I am surprised that the veterans organizations did not pick up on this.
