AUBURN – Police have identified another suspect in the June 23 robbery of the McDonald’s restaurant on Center Street.

Detectives have obtained a felony arrest warrant for Kristopher Dahlquist, 24, charging him with robbery, Deputy Chief Jason D. Moen said.

Dahlquist and Daniel Duhamel are suspected of entering the restaurant armed with baseball bats. Police say they forced employees into a back room before making off with an undisclosed amount of money from the restaurant safe.

Both remained at large Wednesday night.

While investigating the heist Saturday morning, police examined footage from a surveillance tape and identified a suspect seen letting the two armed men into the restaurant. That man, 19-year-old Andrew Gage, of 178 Blake St., Lewiston was arrested later Saturday on a charge of robbery.

On Wednesday night, police were still searching for the remaining suspects.

Duhamel is a white male, 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds, with a shaved head. He may be driving a red 1992 Honda Civic with Maine registration 8644NX.

Dahlquist is a white male, 6 feet, 4 inches and 250 pounds.

Anyone with information on the location of Duhamel or Dahlquist may call Auburn police at 784-7332.
