LEWISTON – Nancy Lavoie has been promoted to human resources information systems/employee relations manager at Geiger, the nation’s largest privately held promotional products distributor. She will help the human resources department to evaluate, select and implement new technologies, and to develop the department’s intranet to provide more and better information to local and national associates.

Lavoie will continue to complete a majority of the duties she oversaw in her previous position as employee relations specialist, assisting managers and associates with employment issues.

Lavoie has worked at Geiger since 1982, and has held a series of progressively responsible positions in the human resources department.

In addition, Lavoie volunteers for Geiger’s Adopt-A-School partnership with Montello Elementary School, as a member of the facilitator team for Montello Girls Running for past three years.

Lavoie is also a member of the Central Maine Human Resources Association, serving as the organization’s vice president from 2003 to 2005.

Lavoie grew up in Lewiston and resides in Wales with her husband and children
