Dear Sun Spots: You are a great service to the paper. I have been a subscriber to the Sun Journal for years. And when I had my own real estate business, I did a lot at advertising in the Sun Journal.

Now, here is my question: I am trying to find out the address of a professional golfer, Paul Goydos. I met him many years ago and feel I might know relatives of his here in Maine. – No Name, No Town.

Answer:
It appears Goydos has been part of the PGA tour, and you should try contacting him through the tour at 112 PGA Tour Blvd., Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082, 904-285-3700.

Dear Sun Spots: My children have accumulated many trophies through their school careers. Years later, some have some special meaning, many do not. Is there any group or organizations that can reuse trophies? I’d love to be able to donate them. Thank you very much. Your column is always very helpful and interesting! – No Name, No Town.

Answer:
Contact John F. Murphy Homes, 1512 Minot Ave., Auburn, 782-1780 (ask for Dan).

Dear Sun Spots: I purchased an international, multicountry TracFone, but after all the sign-in preliminaries, I am having difficulties. This is my third TracFone. I am not able to call Canada. I spent over 2½ hours on my land line with TracFone and they relieved me of 20 units. It was almost impossible to comprehend what was being said and my phone is only good for local calls. I called them at 800-860-7183 again, after many numbers being inserted into my phone it still will not call Canada. Please help me with this problem. I do not want another two-year contact with a monthly bill.

Thank you so much. – MIC., No Town.

Answer:
According to www.800domains.com, the number you’ve been calling is a reverse directory phone number and not TracFone.

Sun Spots checked with TracFone’s Web site, www.tracfoneild.com, and it notes if you already own a TracFone and use it for regular calls, you can now dial directly from your TracFone to more 60 international locations including Mexico. To do so, call 1-800-706-3839 and follow the instructions.

For customer service assistance with your TracFone international long distance calling contact 1-800-867-7183.

Dear Sun Spots: The Jacques Cartier Club on Wales Road in Sabattus will hold a garage/yard sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, July 20, and Saturday, July 21, rain or shine. Tables are available for rental at $10. For more information please call Sally at 784-8839. – Sally, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: For the person who needed a phonograph repaired in the June 11 column: I would strongly recommend Carver & Sons Electronics Service & Repair. They are on Route 4, Turner, 225-2354. They have done work for me in the past. – No Name, No Town.

Dear Sun Spots: I am looking for an address for Redbook magazine. I am trying to get in touch with them as I am receiving two magazines. The only way to contact them appears to be a computer address. I would appreciate if you could please find an address for me where I could write to them. Not all of us have computers and we appreciate the postal addresses and phone numbers that Sun Spots also provides. – Margaret Roberts, Rumford.

Answer:
Contact Redbook at P.O. Box 7190-0190, Red Oak, IA 51591 or by phone, toll free, at 1-800-888-0008.
