WATERFORD – Stanley L. Ridlon, 74, of Norway Road, Waterford, died Thursday, June 28, at his home.

He was born in Harrison, Nov. 20, 1932, the son of William K. and Evelyn G. Moore Ridlon. He attended school in Sweden and served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He had been employed as a woodsman and heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on old trucks. On Oct. 22, 1988, he married Hazel Glover.

Survivors include his wife of Waterford; two sons, Dale Edson of Keene, N.H., and Edward Atherton of Massachusetts; two sisters, Mary Brooks of Brunswick and Gail Bartlett of Sweden; two brothers, Maynard Sr. of Hiram and Robert of Fryeburg; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
