PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) – Emergency responders rescued two people from their sinking boat Thursday in Portsmouth Harbor.

Boater Harry Cwicchell of Rochester, N.Y., radioed for help late Thursday morning after his 23-foot bayliner began taking on water.

The Coast Guard towed the leaky boat to a nearby marina.

while the New Hampshire Marine Patrol took Cwichell back to the mainland to retrieve his trailer. No one was injured in the incident.
