BETHEL – Author Patricia Probert Gott will be at Books N Things Saturday, July 14, to sign copies of her third book, “So You Wanna be a Cowgirl,” based on her adventures while working as a horse wrangler and trail guide at a Wyoming dude ranch.
“My first experience wrangling horses found me galloping over a headwall and down a steep bluff amidst a herd of 100 horses. After learning to guide with my own horse, meeting a bear and surviving a 9,500-foot climb up Table Mountain outside Cody, Wyo., we nearly slipped 50 feet down a bank into the Shoshone River,” Gott shared in a prepared statement.
A retired businesswoman living in South Paris, Gott will be at Books N Things from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Her Web site is www.prgottbooks.net.
