BOWDOIN – The wedding of Whitney Diane Bouchard and Matthew John Boyd was held at 2 p.m. on Nov. 26 at the home of the bride’s parents in Bowdoin. Jim Douglas, minister, officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Boyd is the daughter of Edward and Carole Bouchard of Bowdoin. Mr. Boyd is the son of Lloyd and Debra Boyd Jr. of East Poland.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white strapless gown in satin with Empire waist, trimmed in red satin lace. She carried a bouquet of red roses with white baby’s breath.

Magean Bouchard was maid of honor for her sister. Troy Boyd was best man for his brother.

An intimate family gathering followed at Jamison Tavern Restaurant in Freeport, after which the couple went to the Parkwood Inn in Brunswick. They are residing in Freeport.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Mt. Ararat High School and is employed at Subway in Freeport.

The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Edward Little High School and is employed at Casco Bay Ford Company in Yarmouth.
