PORTSMOUTH, N.H. (AP) – The four tall ships docked in Portsmouth this weekend attracted thousands of visitors despite long lines to climb aboard.

The Prince William, The Urania, The Spirit of Bermuda and the Pride of Baltimore II arrived in New Hampshire on Friday.

Donald Coker, chairman of the Piscataqua Maritime Commission, estimated that 1,500 people viewed the ships that day, and the total for the weekend would be 7,000 to 10,000.
