LEWISTON – A memorial Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Rita Deschamps was held Monday at Holy Cross Church with the Rev. Nathan Murch celebrating the Mass and reciting committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. During Mass, Rita’s daughter, Debra Deschamps read the Old Testament reading with Jean Gastonguay reading the New Testament reading and the prayer of the faithful. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by Rita’s daughters Denise Hunt and Doreen Deschamps. After committal prayers and the conclusion of services, all were invited to Denise Hunt’s home for a reception of fellowship. Arrangements by Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
