MARLBOROUGH, N.H. (AP) – Federal safety investigators are looking into the death of a teen last week on a local farm.

Travis DeSimone, 17, of Marlborough, Mass., and three others were working on Corbett Creek Farm in Marlborough, N.H., when he was crushed by a concrete wall. The group had been hired to convert a dairy barn into a dog kennel. DeSimone was on his knees cutting a piece of metal when it gave way, sending a four-by-six-foot section of concrete wall crashing down.

Ted Fitzgerald, a spokesman for the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration, said inspectors have begun their investigation at the farm.

Investigations typically involve site inspections, records checks and interviews with workers and employers.
