NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. – Richard “Dick” Arsenault, 75, of North Fort Myers, Fla., died Sunday, June 24, after a lengthy illness.

He was born in Mexico, Aug. 19, 1931, son of Andrew and Alma (Quirion) Arsenault. He was with the Oblate Fathers and received a special dispensation.

He taught school in the Hartford, Conn. school system until his retirement. He and his wife moved to Florida in 1995.

He is survived by his wife, Rita (Bourque) Arsenault; two sisters, Anita Cote of Farmington and Sister Jeanne Arsenault, SSCH of Marlboro, Mass.; one brother, Rene of Biddeford; one uncle and aunt, Tony and Lillian Poirier; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents; and a sister, Marilyn.
