AUBURN – Carl Buissere’s triple in the bottom of the seventh inning ignited a two-run rally as New Auburn pulled off a thrilling 7-6 victory over Northern Oxford County.
Corey Larue, who reached on an error to lead off the inning, scored on Buissere’s triple to right-center to tie the game. Derek Doucette followed with an RBI single to center through a drawn-in, 5-man infield.
Adam Lutz scored four runs and pitched four innings of solid relief for the win. Brad Blackman added two RBIs on two hits for New Auburn (9-4).
Nate Staires led Northern Oxford County (7-8) with two hits.
Gray 9, Andy Valley 5
TURNER – Josh Sundquist had a pair of hits, including a two-run homer to lead Gray to a 9-5 victory over Andy Valley.
Zach Canter, Nick Derice and Lucas Chase combined for six hits as Gray (9-3). Pete Clement added a double and earned the win on the mound.
Nick Letourneau led Andy Valley (3-10) with three hits.
