RUMFORD – Jolene Lovejoy, who was recently ousted from the Board of Selectmen, was not the only woman to ever serve the town as a selectman. Kathleen Mersereau served on the board in the 1980s. That history and the spelling of Lovejoy’s first name on a page B3 story in the Rumford edition June 14 were incorrectly reported.
