INDUSTRY – Norman Kermit Beane, 47, of Industry, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 11, at his home.

He was born in Skowhegan on Feb. 12, 1960, the son of Kermit M. and Dorothy (Delorge) Beane. He was educated in the schools of Pennsylvania, Maryland and Farmington.

He worked at International Paper in Jay. He was an enthusiastic fisherman and hunter and enjoyed snowmobiling. He was gifted at repairing mechanical equipment and loved making fishing rods with his dad. He was very thoughtful with his parents and his older brother and loved his children and especially his grandson.

He is survived by two daughters, Bridget Beane of Massachusetts and Allisen Beane of Industry; a son, James Beane of Farmington; a grandson, Thomas Hochstin of Massachusetts; his parents, Kermit and Dorothy of Industry; three brothers, Michael Beane of Industry, Donald Beane, and his wife, Mary, of Wilton and Clifton Beane, and his wife, Melinda, of Dallas, Texas; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
