LEWISTON – The Central Maine Medical Center School of Nursing will offer several courses during the fall semester that are open to non-nursing students.

Open to the public are the following education courses:

“Ethics in Healthcare” (ELE 202): It is a three-credit course that will be offered from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Mondays.

“College Writing” (ENG 101): It is a three-credit course that will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays.

“Introduction to Psychology” (PSY 101): The three-credit course will meet from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays.

“Anatomy and Physiology I” (BIO 111): The four-credit class will include lectures and laboratory work. The classroom component of the class will meet from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Fridays and the lab sessions will be held from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Fridays.

“Microbiology” (BIO 113): The four-credit class will include lectures and lab work. The lecture component will be presented from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Thursdays. The lab sessions will be held from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Tuesdays and 4:30 to 6 p.m. Thursdays. Both lab sessions are mandatory.

The classes will run from the week of Sept. 4 to the week of Dec. 9.
