POLAND – The 5K Run by the Lake is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. Sunday. Participants may walk or run. Registration will begin at 7 a.m. in front of Wolf Cove Bed and Breakfast on Route 11.

Preregistration is $15; $18 the day of the race. Proceeds will benefit the Thompson Lake Environmental Association, which sponsors the race along with the Poland Recreation Department.
