This is in response to the July 21 editorial, “Flight story only ends in futility.”

There are scant few people in Colorado who read the Sun Journal. The statement that “It seems this deadline [extended to August 15, 2007] would be extended into perpetuity, and debate would still rage fiercely,” shows the writer either didn’t attend the Farmington meeting, or he didn’t listen well or was asleep.

More than 125 people in attendance voted to be unanimously opposed to low-level flights – hardly a fierce, raging debate that seems to exist only in the editorialist’s mind, for what reasons I can only guess.
