Criminal Mischief
Some items were damaged and stolen from the bar area of the Chalet Motel overnight July 24-25.
The field at the Randall Road Ball Park complex was damaged by a truck doing cookies overnight July 24-25.
A window at Dave’s Place, 64 Sabattus St., was smashed out on July 25 at 11:30 p.m. The suspect was a white female with brown hair wearing a long olive green shirt and grey sweatpants.
A bicycle and a vehicle at 85 Nichols St. were vandalized prior to 8 p.m. July 26.
A wall at 44 Hammond St. was tagged with graffiti between July 25 at 5 p.m. and July 26 at 8 a.m.
A mailbox at 830 College St. was smashed overnight July 27-28.
A vehicle parked at 15 Pettingill St. was keyed and spray painted overnight July 27-28.
A vehicle parked at 12 Wood St. had its windshield smashed out overnight July 27-28.
A vehicle parked at 20 Ware St. had the rear window smashed out between 5-5:30 p.m. on July 28.
A mailbox at 480 Pond Rd. was smashed overnight July 28-29.
A building window at 5 Johnson St. was smashed out with a rock on July 30 at 12:49 a.m., the suspects were in a white car that fled towards Randall Rd.
A vehicle parked at 109 Blake St. is reporting damage to his vehicle overnight July 29-30.
A porch window at 41 Jefferson St. was broken out between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. on July 27.
Thefts
A 26-inch gun metal gray specialized mountain bike with black lettering that says “Ground Control” was stolen from 19 Winn St. on July 26 between midnight and 12:46 a.m. The bicycle was located shortly after the report along with the juvenile suspect responsible for the theft who received a summons.
A blue Royce Union 21-speed mountain bike was stolen from 21 Bradley St. prior to 2 p.m. on July 26.
A computer and computer accessories were stolen from 29 Haley St. prior to 8 p.m. on July 27.
A wallet was stolen from a vehicle parked at 16 Howe St. overnight July 28-29.
Burglaries
An apartment at 23 Howe St. was burglarized prior to 8 p.m. on July 26. A bow and arrow were stolen from inside.
An apartment at 154 Pine St. was burglarized prior to 16:30 on 07/28, property was taken from inside.
At 7:30 p.m. on July 28, a resident of 30 Forest St. had a male subject enter his home without permission, when confronted the suspect claimed he was looking for “Germaine”. He then left the home on foot, he was described as a 5-foot-9, white male with a crew cut wearing a blue muscle shirt and blue jean shorts.
A residence at 30 Brown St. had an attempted entry made through a screen window sometime overnight July 29-30. The attempt was unsuccessful.
Operating Under the Influence
Brett Mascetta, 18, was arrested for operating under the influence and minor transporting liquor on 07/27 at 11:10 p.m. at 25 Main St. The vehicle drove through a joint OUI roadblock on the Longley Bridge.
Steven Hamlin, 26, was arrested for operating under the influence and operating after suspension on July 28 at 1:54 a.m. The vehicle was stopped in a joint OUI roadblock on the Longley Bridge.
Katherine Clabby, 44, was arrested for operating under the influence on July 28 at 1:16 a.m. at Pleasant St./Court St. in Auburn following a routine traffic stop as she approached an OUI roadblock at the Longley Bridge.
Mark Theriault, 30, was arrested for operating under the influence and operating while license suspended on July 29 at 1:16 a.m. at 736 Sabattus St. The vehicle was stopped after an officer observed him speeding through the area.
Richard Myers, 49, was arrested for operating under the influence on July 29 at 11:27 p.m. in front of the police station following a routine traffic stop.
Operating After Suspension Arrests
Cory Nadeau, 22, was arrested for operating after suspension on July 28 at 1:30 a.m. on the Longley Bridge. The vehicle was stopped as part of an OUI roadblock at the Longley Bridge.
Paul Savignano, 47, was arrested for operating after suspension on July 29 at 12:11 a.m. at Lisbon St./Acadia Ave. This was following a routine traffic stop.
Indecent Conduct
A pedestrian who was walking by 449 Main St. observed a male with glasses masturbating in public in a green van on July 27 at 1:53 a.m.
Robbery
On July 26 at 3:33 p.m. a pedestrian was assaulted in Kennedy Park and had his skateboard stolen. The victim was a 22-year-old Lewiston resident and the suspect was an acquaintance whom he had problems with in the past. The assailant punched the victim once in the face and fled with the skateboard. Donald Giusti, 28, was located shortly after the incident and charged with robbery.
Fugitive From Justice Arrest
Elmer Brinson, 31, was charged with aggravated forgery, operating a vehicle without a license, and a fugitive from justice warrant out of New Jersey City, N.J. The vehicle he was driving was stopped after he failed to yield for a pedestrian in the crosswalk. He was unable to produce an ID and initially gave several different false names. He was successfully identified by his fingerprints by the FBI, and he is being extradited to New Jersey. He had signed both summonses he had initially received with a false name which led to the aggravated forgery charge.

The department is looking for Vincent Steed, 25, he is wanted on a warrant charging failure to appear for assault and violating conditions of release.
The department is looking for Brian Morency, 18, he is wanted on a warrant failure to appear theft and burglary.
The department is looking for Luis Palaez, 55, he is wanted on a warrant charging unpaid fines for unlawful trafficking in drugs.
