SOUTH PARIS – The Painted Mermaid Gallery will hold a reception Friday, Aug. 3, for its First Friday Exhibit “Thru the Eye of the Lens,” featuring photography by Joseph Beecher of Naples, Murad Sayen of South Paris, Warm Tears of South Paris and Nance Trueworthy of Portland.

The reception will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the gallery at 6 Briggs Ave. off Route 26. Light refreshments will be served.
