TOPSHAM – Florice M. Bryant, 72, of Brunswick, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Amenity Manor surrounded by her family.

She was born to Methyl Ranger on Nov. 29, 1934, in Livermore Falls. She was a 1953 graduate of Livermore Falls High School. She married Clinton S. Bryant on April 6, 1957, in Livermore Falls. He predeceased her on April 18, 1996.

She and Clinton made their home on the River Road in Livermore until 1987, when they fulfilled their lifelong dream of moving to their home on Eustis Ridge full time. After Clinton’s death, she moved to Brunswick to live with her daughter Lisa and her family. She enjoyed crocheting and donating the crafts to the Brunswick Seventh Day Adventist Center and also to the Brunswick Fire Junior Department for their fundraising efforts.

She also enjoyed camping and continued to camp throughout her illness. She very much enjoyed family get-togethers, where she cherished the time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include daughters, Rebecca Houle of New Sharon, Lisa Kennedy, and her husband, Richard, of Brunswick; son, Jeffrey Bryant, and his wife, Lori, of Livermore Falls; many brothers and sisters; eight grandchildren, Jessica and Jason Houle, Dana and Jayme Kennedy, and Isaac, Levi, Allyssia and Jacob Bryant; her first great-grandchild, Annabelle Kates was born to Jayme on July 17, and she was able to meet Annabelle.

Her family would like to thank Dr. Kathleen Schwarz of Brunswick, Midcoast Senior Health Center, Bodwell Unit staff and the Chans Hospice staff for their care of our mother and compassion toward all of us. Also, we would like to thank the incredible staff at Amenity Manor for their dedication to our mom and to their profession.
