LEWISTON – A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of George A. Moyes was held Wednesday at St. Patrick’s Chapel after prayers at the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Seavey celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at Gracelawn Memorial Park. During Mass, George’s niece, Cynthia Renaud read the the testament readings as well as the prayer of the faithful. The offertory gifts were brought to the altar by George’s nephew, Michael Renaud and Cynthia Renaud. After committal prayers the U.S. Army Honor Detail played “Taps” and presented our country’s flag to George’s sister, Emily Renaud in honor of George’s service to his country during the Vietnam Conflict. At the conclusion of services all were invited to a reception of fellowship at Marco’s Restaurant in Lewiston. Arrangements by the Pinette & Lynch Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
