Mad Tea Party blends elements of old-time jazz, early stringband styles, psychedelia and vintage rock ‘n’ roll to create its own unique sound. Making up the band are Ami Worthen, vocals, ukulele; Jason Krekel, vocals, guitar, fiddle, snare, hi-hat; and Joe Edel, vocals, bass, bass drum. They will bring their offbeat sense of humor and lyrics offering clever commentary on love, life, death and the music business to Bachelder’s Inn & Wee Otter Tavern in Litchfield at 6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 5. The trio will also perform at 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 9, at the Liberal Cup in Hallowell.
