NEW BOSTON, N.H. (AP) – Police caught up with a Manchester man Thursday morning who escaped from a police cruiser the previous night, while wearing handcuffs.
Pembroke Police arrested Ronald Albert, 37, around 7 a.m., while he was riding a bicycle in the town.
Albert was arrested on drunken driving charges after a crash around 9 p.m., Wednesday in New Boston. Police say an officer handcuffed Albert and sat him in the back seat of his cruiser. When the officer went to check out the wrecked vehicle, Albert somehow got out and took off.
He was arrested without incident and faces a host of charges, including drunken driving, driving with a revoked license and escape.
