With the month of August upon us, I just heard that the Iraqi government is going on vacation, the U.S. Congress is going on vacation, and President Bush is going on vacation. The only people not going on vacation are our military men and women, who continue to fight in the sweltering heat of Iraq and Afghanistan.

Just another example of a minority of people bearing the brunt for the “war on terror.”

We need to bring the troops home and stop the fiasco of a senseless war.
