LINCOLNVILLE (AP) – The body of a young man found washed up on Lincolnville Beach has been identified as that of an exchange student from Moldova, the Waldo County Sheriff’s Department said Sunday.

The body was found Friday evening and officials said the death appeared to be a drowning. The victim was identified through photo IDs but his name has not been released.
