LEWISTON – The Kind of Blue Quartet, a group of local students, will play at the Lewiston Farmers’ Market Tuesday, Aug. 7.

The market, offering fresh vegetables, flowers and herbs, local produce, live music and family activities, is held from 2 to 6 p.m. every Tuesday near the corner of Bates and Pine streets.

The market also offers baked goods, Maine specialty foods, cooking demonstrations, free recipes and food samples, and booths with information on health and wellness.
