NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Dr. Joseph O. Cogguillo Jr., of Milford, Conn., passed away Thursday, Aug. 2.

He was born in Bridgeport on July 9, 1932, to the late Joseph O. Cogguillo Sr. and Dorothy Freeland Cogguillo.

He leaves his wife of 48 years, Jean Chapman Cogguillo (formerly of Maine); his children include Joe III (Shelly) of Branford, Chris (Jorie) of Milford and Craig of Stratford; his grandchildren include, Will, Jacob, Megan, Grace, Isaac and Leah.

Joe was predeceased by his grandchildren, Oliver and Lilla.
