I am writing to say that I enjoyed the China series a great deal – the photos and the reports. I especially wish to say how pleased I was by the writing of Rex Rhoades. It was a refreshing change from so many stories that are poorly written, filled with grammatical errors, bad word usage and needless sensationalism.

Rhoades was descriptive, to the point, knowlegeable in the use of adjectives, adverbs and, thank you, metaphors that didn’t exaggerate the point. That was newspaper reporting that was a pleasure to read.
