GREENE – The Araxine Wilkins Sawyer Foundation August calendar of events includes performances on Thursday, Aug. 23 at 7 p.m. and again on Friday, August 24 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the auditorium, 371 Sawyer Road. Admission is free and doors open one hour before shows.

Bluegrass and gospel music and songs will be provided by The LaClaire Band. Assisting them will be Dave Knightly on fiddle and mandolin and Jeanine Loubier on banjo and guitar.

Phil and Ellen LaClaire are both accomplished musicians, involved with music since childhood. The band has produced eight recording projects and perform at churches, festivals, homecomings and fairs.
